Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection Benefits: Terms & Conditions

Important for bookings during COVID-19 (until further notice): there may be restrictions or closures of hotel facilities including food and beverage, spa and others. Card Eligibility

Only Citibank Ultima cards may book hotels at ultima.visaluxuryhotels.com and receive special Visa premium card benefits.* Visa premium cardholders in other countries may be able to receive Visa Luxury Hotel Collection benefits by visiting here: www.visaluxuryhotelcollection.com

Room Upgrade

Upon availability at check-in, you will be upgraded to the next highest room class for the duration of your stay.

  • Room upgrades are based on a one-category room upgrade and are subject to availability at time of check-in.
  • Room categories are determined by the hotel and are subject to change.
  • Upgrades cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
  • Upgrades have no monetary value.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to charge additional fees for room upgrades higher than one category above reserved room type.

$25 USD Food/Beverage Credit

During your hotel stay you will receive a $25 USD credit at check-out. Limit of one $25 USD credit per room, per stay. A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. Any charges over and above the credit described above will be applied directly to your account to settle upon departure. Credit has no cash value and is not valid on room rate or third party services.

Continental Breakfast Daily

For the length of your stay, you and one guest will receive complimentary continental breakfast daily. If the hotel does not offer continental breakfast, they will offer another dining or other benefit of equal value based on local market rate.

VIP Guest Status

As a guest through the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection, you will be recognized within the hotel as a VIP Guest. VIP Guest services and amenities differ by property.

Complimentary In-Room Wi-Fi

Upon check-in you will be provided with complimentary in-room Wi-Fi access, if available, for the duration of your stay.

3PM Checkout Upon Request

Late checkout is available upon request, upon availability by the hotel. At the time of check-in, or during the course of your stay, you may contact the front desk and request late checkout up to 3 p.m.

* In cases where one of the benefits is not available at a hotel, the hotel may provide a substitute benefit of equal value. Some hotels may provide one of the benefits as a standard feature of the room being booked. In those cases the hotel may or may not provide a substitute benefit of equal value. Resort fees that cover any of the benefits are not reimbursable. Reservations must be booked either on a Visa Luxury Hotel Collection website or through Visa Concierge for benefits to apply. Please consult the terms and conditions for each property.

COMPLIMENTARY 2nd NIGHT STAY TERMS & CONDITIONS


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. General Conditions
    • Program is valid for hotel bookings made from 1st April 2020 onwards, with the stay to be completed within 6 months from the booking date. For example, stay booked on 30 April 2020 must have check out date no later than 30 Oct 2020.
    • Offer applies to primary Citibank Ultima main cardholders ("Cardholders") only.
    • Up to one complimentary night is allowed per Cardholder per room per booking.
    • A maximum of two complimentary nights are allowed per Cardholder per outward bound trip from the country where the Citibank Ultima card is issued, regardless of the number of cities visited or hotels stayed at in that same outward bound trip.
      • Accordingly, for the avoidance of doubt, no further complimentary nights will be granted for different cities visited, or for different hotels stayed at, in the same outward bound trip even if there is a time lapse between the visits or stays.
    • To qualify for the complimentary night stay:
      • A minimum of 2 consecutive nights stay is required to enjoy the complimentary 2nd night.
      • The complimentary night benefit is only valid for booking at hotels that are NOT located in the city where the card is issued.
      • The Citibank Ultima credit card used to book the reservation must be presented at check-in, and for full payment upon check out.
      • The cardholder who booked the stays must be one of the staying guests;
      • Complimentary night is non-transferable and not valid for stays at another hotel.
      • Complimentary night must be utilized during the same stay as the purchased nights;
      • Purchased and complimentary nights must be of the same room types.
      • Only one booking for same cardholder on the same day is allowed.
      • o For the avoidance of doubt, the complimentary night cannot be combined with another "stay a minimum night and get free night" type of offer run by the hotels directly
    • There are no cash credits for any unused free nights if the guest checks out early.
    • Rates are per room, per night, based on single/double occupancy and availability at time of reservation and do not include additional per room, per night surcharges that may be imposed or applicable state/local taxes.
    • Complimentary night has no refund value.
    • All room rates will be based on Best Available Rates and cannot be combined with any other offers or packages.
    • All rates and availability for hotels are provided by the bank's designated travel platform.
    • The cost of the complimentary one-night stay will be computed as the average nightly rate for the entire stay.
    • Complimentary night is only applicable to room rates and does not include taxes, surcharges or any other fees.
  2. Reservations
    • Booking, amendments and cancellations must be done through a Citibank Ultima Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citibank Ultima Concierge.
    • To be eligible for the complimentary 2nd night benefit, booking must be completed at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to the check-in date by 3pm local hotel time. For example, to check-in on May 8th, the booking must be completed on or before May 5th by 3pm local hotel time. Bookings made less than 3 days (72 hours) prior to the check-in date by 3pm local hotel time are not eligible for the benefit.
    • Walk-in guest(s) without prior reservations will not be granted the complimentary night's stay benefit.
    • Reservations are subject to room availability on the designated travel platform used by the bank at the time that the reservation is confirmed and not at the time of quotation. Blackout dates may apply. Cardholder's preferred dates cannot be guaranteed.
    • If more than two bookings are made per outward-bound trip, the first two bookings based on check-in date will be eligible for the free night benefit, unless otherwise specified.

      Room Upgrade Terms under VLHC:
      1. Room upgrades are based on a one-category room upgrade and are subject to availability at time of check-in.
      2. Room categories are determined by the hotel and are subject to change.
      3. Upgrades cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
      4. Certain room categories may not be eligible for upgrade.
      5. Upgrades have no monetary value.
      6. The Hotel reserves the right to charge additional fees for room upgrades higher than one category above reserved room type.
  3. Cancellation and Charges
    • Cancellations and amendments must be made through a Citibank Ultima Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citibank Ultima Concierge.
    • Any change or modification will be considered a new booking and subject to current rates and availability.
    • Cancellation and amendment fees may apply subject to the cancellation and amendment policies of the respective Participating Hotels.
    • Cancellation and No Show fees will be charged to the Citibank Ultima Card account.
    • Cancellation and amendments must be made at least 7 days (168 hours) before date of arrival by 3pm local hotel time by calling a Citibank Ultima Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citibank Ultima Concierge. Where the Participating Hotels has a different cancellation or amendment policy requiring more than 7 days (168 hours) notification, the request is subject to the policy of the Participating Hotel.
    • Where Kiwi and the participating Hotels have a different cancellation or amendment policy, the longer notification requirement takes precedence.
    • For example, reservation is made for 10th July and hotel's cancellation's policy is 72hrs. In this case, Kiwi's 7days cancellation policy takes precedence and cancellation must be made before 3rd July by 3 PM local hotel time. For any cancellation made within/less than 7days, any cancellation charges will be borne by Citi.
    • In the event of a No Show situation, Kiwi will inform the Citibank Ultima Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citibank Ultima Concierge, within 24h of the hotel informing Kiwi of the No Show.
    • A maximum of 2 eligible reservations are allowed at the same property under the same name with overlapping dates
      • Different hotels, overlapping dates – Any attempt to make a reservation at a different property with overlapping dates will be blocked by the system
    • After reservation dates are confirmed, LRM is responsible to cancel the ineligible existing reservation. Existing ineligible reservation will not be automatically cancelled. In the event, the ineligible overlapping reservations are not cancelled and cardholder does not show up, the card used to secure the reservation will be charged and Citi will bear the cost of the 1 Free Night.
    • Once reservations are confirmed, all associated cost (amendment fee, cancellation fee, taxes and surcharges and room price difference) will be borne by Cardholder.
  4. Miscellaneous
    • Complimentary one night stay is based on accommodation for maximum occupancy per room type and is exclusive of all applicable tax and service charges for such accommodation. Applicable taxes, service charges, meals and all other incidentals will be charged to Cardholder directly by the respective Participating Hotel.
    • Complimentary night is not exchangeable for cash or in kind and not applicable in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, internet room rates or privileges.
    • The bank and Participating Hotels reserve the right to amend and exercise the final interpretation of the terms and conditions of this offer.

STAYCATION MARKETING CAMPAIGN (8TH JUNE 2020 – 31ST DECEMBER 2020)


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. General Conditions
    • Staycation is valid for hotel stays between 1st June 2020 and 31st December 2020
    • Offer applies to primary Citibank Ultima main cardholders ("Cardholders") only.
    • Eligible reservations must be booked within 6 months from the booking date. For example, stay booked on June 8th 2020 must have check out date no later than December 8th, 2020
    • Up to one complimentary night is allowed per Cardholder per room per booking
      • A maximum of two complimentary nights are allowed per Cardholder per hotel per block consecutive nights stay (e.g. bookings for a total of 6 nights with the stay between 8th June 2020 to 14th June 2020 at the same Hotel, will enjoy a maximum of two complimentary nights).
    • To qualify for the complimentary night stay:
      • A minimum of 2 consecutive nights stay is required to enjoy the complimentary 2nd night.
      • During Staycation campaign period, the complimentary night benefit is valid for booking at hotels that are located in the market where the card is issued.
      • The Citi Ultima credit card used to book the reservation must be presented at check-in, and for full payment upon check out.
      • The cardholder who booked the stays must be one of the staying guests;
      • Complimentary night is non-transferable and not valid for stays at another hotel.
      • Complimentary night must be utilized during the same stay as the purchased nights;
      • Purchased and complimentary nights must be of the same room types.
      • Only one booking for same cardholder on the same day is allowed.
